How to export messages

If you've activated the Message Archive, you can export your group's entire message history as an MBOX file.

  1. Login and click the group where you want to export messages

  2. Click Settings, scroll to Export Messages and click Request Message Archive:

  3. You can either keep refreshing the page to check the status (larger exports can take 6+ hours), or wait for an email letting you know when the export is completed:

  4. When the export is ready, click Download archive:


  5. After downloading, we recommend deleting the archive because archive files are accessible to anyone with the URL:
