Delivery failure notifications

If we receive a delivery report of a message failing to arrive, we:

  • Mark the Member as Unreachable in your group member list
  • Add the reason to the delivery report:

Common reasons for delivery failures

Email address is incorrect. This is the most common reason. Often appears like this:

“550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist.”

This means the email address isn't recognised by the recipient's email provider. If this happens, check the email address with the recipient.

Message identified as spam. Ask the recipient to add the group email address to their contacts. To help them, send the Delivery Kit which shows how.
