How emails are addressed and sent

Here's what Gaggle Mail does in between receiving group emails and sending them to your groups.

Let's say you send an email to a group:

From:  John Doe <john.doe@gmail.com>
To: Our Book Club < bookclub@gaggle.email>
Subject: October's Book Choice

Gaggle Mail:

1) Receives the message

2) Looks up the group members

3) Adds group information to some of the email fields

4) Forwards the message to the group

From: John Doe <bookclub+ john.doe_at_gmail.com@gaggle.email>
To: Our Book Club <bookclub@gaggle.email>
Reply-To: Our Book Club <bookclub@gaggle.email> or John Doe <john.doe@gmail.com>
Subject: [ Our Book Club] October's Book Choice
