Choosing whether message replies go to groups or members

There are two things which define whether message replies go to the message sender or the whole group.

Administrators use group settings

  1. Go to My Groups and click the group where you want to make changes:

    Shows user clicking a group name

  2. Click Settings:

    settings option in sidebar

  3. Scroll to Message Flow and next to Who are replies sent to, click to select between the whole group, recipient's discretion or the original sender:

When replying to the message

Replies will be sent to either the whole group or the original sender, depending on what was selected above and whether the recipient clicks Reply or Reply to all.

Who are replies sent to option If recipient selects Reply: If recipient selects Reply to all:
"Always the whole group" Entire group Entire group
"Recipient's discretion" Original sender Entire group
"Always original sender" Original sender Original sender

When you set replies to always the whole group, all replies always go to the whole group – even if the member uses their email client and only replies to the original sender.
