Spam and viruses: How Gaggle Mail protects you

All messages sent from and through Gaggle Mail are scanned for spam and viruses by powerful industry-leading scanners.

Any message flagged as spam or containing a suspicious attachment is bounced back to the sender, asking them to confirm if the message is genuine. For 99.9% of the time, we never hear back from the sender because the message has been flagged correctly.

Our spam filters are highly accurate, stopping most spam getting through. As far as we know, a virus has never been successfully sent from or through Gaggle Mail.
