Files

All attachments sent over your group on Gaggle Mail are stored and available in the Files area.  Administrators can access the files area directly from their group dashboard.

As well as storing all attachments you can upload additional files to the files area.  There is no limit to the number of files which can be stored but as with attachments, the maximum file size is 10MB.

Members

If you make the Message Archive available to members then they will also be able to access the Files area.  As with the Message Archive, members access the Files area by following the link in the footer of any message sent via the group (which takes them to their personal Member Settings page) and from there they can see the Files area.

Also as with the Message Archive, even though members can access their Member Settings without logging in they will be required to create an account (if they don’t have one already) and log in to see the Files.

Deleting

Files in the files area which arrived as attachments can't be deleted until the message they arrived with is deleted from the Message Archive.  You can see which files are still associated with a message in the archive because they have a small envelope on the right-hand side.  Clicking this envelope will take you to the associated message in the archive where you could delete it.

Files which are no longer associated with a message in the archive have a grey cross next to them which you can click to delete that file from the Files area.
