Why is my group paused?

When a new group is created on Gaggle Mail, or we notice unusual activity on an existing group, we sometimes pause sending while we carry out a quick review. This is one of the ways we help prevent our platform from being used to send spam, and it keeps Gaggle Mail reliable and trustworthy for everyone.

What do I need to do?

Just contact us and let us know:

  1. What your group is used for — for example, a neighbourhood watch, a sports club, a professional association, or a school PTA.
  2. How your members' email addresses were collected — for example, members signed up themselves, they were gathered from an existing membership list, or they were imported from another mailing list provider.

How long does it take?

Once we've received your message, someone from the team will review it and re-enable your group. This usually doesn't take long at all — in most cases, your group will be up and running again within a few minutes.
