Organizations & Administrators

In Gaggle Mail there are two kinds of admins: Organization Admins and Group Admins.

Group Admins

Group Admins look after a single group. They can:

• Add, remove, or update members
• Change group settings and how the group looks
• See and manage billing for that group
• Delete the group (unless it’s part of an organization – more on that below)

Organization Admins

Organization Admins have control across the whole organization. They:

• Automatically become an admin of every group in the organization
• Can create new groups or remove existing ones
• Manage billing for the organization
• Disband the organization completely if needed

A Note on Members in Organizations

If your group is part of an organization:

• Group Admins can still remove people from their group
• But they can’t fully delete someone from the whole organization, since that person might still belong to other groups in the same organization
