How to send messages to your groups

You have two ways to send messages to your groups. This article covers:

  1. Sending messages to groups from your email inbox
  2. Sending messages to groups from Gaggle Mail

2.1 Sending messages to subsets of groups and individuals from Gaggle Mail

Option 1: Sending messages to groups from your email inbox

  1. Compose an email in your usual email client (Gmail, Hotmail, iOS, etc)
  2. Address the email to your group's email address. Not sure of the group email address? Go to My Groups; the email address appears under the group name:

    lists all Gaggle Mail groups

  • Send the email and it will go to every member's email inbox

There's no limit to the number of messages you can send – we only limit the number of Members in a group (10,000)

Option 2: Sending messages to groups from Gaggle Mail

Use this method when sending a message with an attachment over 35MB

  1. Go to My Groups and click the group that you want to message:

  2. Click the Compose button:

  3. Create your email. You can also add attachments (up to 10MB) by clicking the attach icon:

    arrow pointing to paperclip symbol

  4. Click Send To Group and all members will receive the message. All messages sent from Gaggle Mail are stored in the Message Archive:
