How to send messages to your groups
You have two ways to send messages to your groups. This article covers:
- Sending messages to groups from your email inbox
-
Sending messages to groups from Gaggle Mail
2.1 Sending messages to subsets of groups and individuals from Gaggle Mail
Option 1: Sending messages to groups from your email inbox
Note: Direct-from-inbox sending is not available on the free plan unless the sender has a Gaggle Mail Pro subscription. For free groups, you can only send from the Gaggle Mail interface.
- Compose an email in your usual email client (Gmail, Hotmail, iOS, etc)
-
Address the email to your group's email address. Not sure of the group email address? Go to Home and choose Manage, the email address appears under the group name:

- Send the email and it will go to every member's email inbox
There's no limit to the number of messages you can send – we only limit the number of Members in a group (10,000)
Option 2: Sending messages to groups from Gaggle Mail
Use this method when sending a message with an attachment over 35MB
-
Go to Home and click the group that you want to message:

-
Click the Compose button:

-
Create your email. You can also add attachments (up to 10MB) by clicking the attach icon:

-
Click Send To Group and all members will receive the message. All messages sent from Gaggle Mail are stored in the Message Archive:
