How to create alias email addresses
What is an alias email address?
An alias is an extra email address that the group recognises as you. If you have more than one address (for example, a work and a personal account), adding the others as aliases lets you send to the group from any of them, without your message being treated as coming from a stranger.
Aliases are for sending only. All messages and digests are still delivered to your primary Gaggle Mail email address. You can add as many aliases as you like.
How to add an alias
- Log in and open your group.
-
Click My Details in the sidebar.

-
Click Show alternative email.

-
Type the alias address and press Enter. It appears under your email address.

Repeat step 4 for each extra address.
How to remove an alias
