Message Summaries

Quickly get up to speed with what’s going on in a message thread by generating a brief summary of it. If you want to know more information, there’s options to generate a full summary, bullet point list, or even sum up any consensus or conclusions.

Instantly generate a summary of the thread you have open by clicking the "Summarize" button in the thread footer.

We use OpenAI’s chatgpt-4o model to generate summaries. When the summarize button is pressed we send the full message thread to OpenIA which generates a summary. If would you prefer not to offer this feature, administrators can disable summaries by switching off “AI Features” on the group settings page.
